Hope the weather holds for that tomorrow Joyce. image

It is a long day - I may change my mind if the weather's a bit iffy. I've two at Glenshee still to do so that's another possibility. There's a brilliant Corbett opposite Starav which I want to do as well. A nice day needed for that to get the views  image

Been outside getting a few things done and taking some photos. The Cupani sweet peas have taken over the 'boxes' and are still flowering like mad. I love them.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Welcome back RB, have missed you.

Saw Poldark on Catch-Up TV so we settled down to watch it, but it was just a resumé of previous series, hadn't realised it hasn't started yet.

Houghton Hall was lovely. Went to Felbrigg Hall Hall today, wonderful walled garden, still full of colour. Will post pics when I get a moment. Having to share the cottage lap top with OH.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning when you all get going.

Ive just been out to the rain gauge for my daily morning check, and there was 27 mm in there. Considering that we only got 17 mm for the whole of August, that's rather good. Hopefully the river will rise enough to give it a good clean out. image
