  • Good morning all,

Nice warm day yesterday and today is a nice bright start. image

I detest buying clothes, can hardly ever find anything to fit nicely, think I must be a funny shape. image

Off to meet Bizzie Lizzie this afternoon for coffee whilst Charlie is at Pony Club. image

Nice to see a lot friendly faces popping back in. image

    Good day to everyone. image

Morning all/ afties Pat if you're about.

Glad to see you're 'connected' again BL. I have a good solution to the dress issue - I don't wear them any more  image

Calmer this morning here and a bit drier, but I believe we are getting some more wild and wet stuff tonight.  This is the poorest September we've had here for many years. Hey ho.

Hope everyone with aches and pains and sniffles and sneezes are on the mend. Good to see 'missing' folk back. Know what you mean about putting lights on chicky - bit depressing that...image

I'll have a quick look see here before I head out.

Have a good day everyone. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Good morning all image G'day Pat if you're around image

    Im still in bedimage

Why is it so difficult to be an England manager? To me it's simple - just ask yourself what Sir Bobby Robson would have done - if you can't imagine him doing something then you shouldn't do it either. Seemples!

Glad you're connected BL image  But clean windows?  Steady on there!image

    Good morning,

chicky lovely photo to start the day with, thank you

DD you sound so much more reeeelaaxed!

    Pat hope you feeling better

Busy sometimes it pays off to play the poor wee daft lassie! Enjoy coffee with DD, cake too?

Dove I don't watch football but was more than a little irritated that the Beeb thought it was the most interesting thing that happened in the world yesterday.

Fairy, it was windy last night, is it really due to return?

I have just read that a local group in the Clyde Valley ( once famous for its fruit growing) are asking folk with more apples than they need to donate them as the newly bottled juice is flying off the shelves.  They will even come and get them! What a clever idea?!

    have a good day

We are camping.   Our house has been packed into two big trucks, one of which is parked on our old cobbled road and the other will return tomorrow with a  trailer to load my plants.  I just managed to rescue our pillows and duvet and we slept on old sun lounger and sofa cushions last night - so exhausted we could have slept anywhere!

Dinner was cooked on a two plate leccy stove I had for doing mulled wine for the dance club.  Ironing board is serving as table and desk.    Cleaning today from the attic down.

Marie-Christine came yesterday to pot up plants for her and me.  No measurable rain for 8 weeks here so much watering needed first.   She's gone off with my spare bags of compost and chipped bark too.

Busy - good for you.   We shall have no internet for our first 10 days because , believe it or not, we can't order it online or by phone but have to go in person!   So much for modern telecoms!

Dove - hope the shoulder eases with the exercises.   No accounting for greed in football and many other spheres of life.

Clari- fancy forgetting the vintage ambulance.

    Have a good day everyone.

Maybe they should take a leaf out of Joe Grundy's book and have a Cider Club image

    Morning all.

Late on parade due to being wide awake for hours around 2- 4am, grr.

Football?? what can I say? I hate everything about it. If you pay folk obscene amounts of money and they're surrounded by folk who are too frightened , or too weak to say "no" to them, you end up with greedy managers or players who think that women are playthings.

More Hosta moving to-day for me.
