I got woken by a phone call at 8am which frightened the b.... Out of me. One of Hubby's mates ringing for a chat. image  Peeked out through the curtains and there is no sun, the pavement around the house is wet and no wind, so it seems as though we've had rain but no big storm overnight. Just as well I got one load of washing done yesterday. It will be interesting to watch the day's progress. Had a quiet laugh when HRH lifted her head to watch me curtain peeking, got a pat of the head, then dropped her head back onto her bed and straight back to sleep.image

i love the photos of the new place Obelixx. I imagine you'll have lots of interesting months ahead this summer. Do they get snakes or other creepy crawlers in France? I'm always wary of overgrown shrubberies here (with good reason).

Congrats Wonky. Your research has paid off. Hope the job works out as well as expected.

Hello everyone else. I've already forgotten most of what ive read. Oh yes - dresses etc. I live in trousers. The only time ived worn a dress in the last 7 years was Rolf's birthday dinner, and I had to literally had to take it outside and dust it off.

I assume everyone is asleep by now, so good morning to all as you wake.
