Flowers thankyou for uploading your photos, they warm up an otherwise dull and damp day! ? ?????. Johnny I have never seen one like that before, stunning ???. What lovely pictures we have on this thread.....???
I probably last used miracle grow potting soil when I last harvested baby bulbs off the older ones. Any good potting soil. I generally just put them in a corner of my greenhouse and leave them be all summer. watering when needed until the end of Sept. I let the pot dry out and come the end of Oct. I cut off all the leave that haven't dried off yet and put the bulbs still in their pots down into my dark cold room. Some say they need 15 weeks of rest. Well I have had them coming up on their own in as little as 8 weeks. I try to leave them in the cold room until the end of January. Then out they come and I give them all a good soak and put them in the light. I turn the heat on in my GH in early March and out they go. I fertilize after they bloom with Plant Prod 20-20-20 maybe every few weeks in the summer, but last year I fertilized with my dirty fish tank water as much as possible. I really notice the growth on my plants, annuals and perennials since I began using fish water a year and a half ago.
I have four Aym. Two have started into growth showing buds. One from last year not showing a bud yet and waiting for the other from last year to show any sign of growth.
Aym - mine are in MPC. Keep one third of bulb above the compost if you are re-potting them but I would leave them in the coir compost just now. Leaves will start growing from the bulb. Has the stem broken off.?

Aym: those amaryllis are beautiful
are these Dutch hybrids?
Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) are originally from South Africa.
