My brain wakes me up at the same time regardless of whether it's a day off.

Surely it's socially acceptable to wake the others in the house by now? Dog and man and both snoring away terribly.

I think drinkymcdrunk is claiming a cold that he caught just as he went out is to blame for the shocking effects of his night out on Thursday. He was still not well last night.

    Very moist outside at present.

    Morning all.

The house if flippin' freezin'. It's August for goodness sake.

    I HATE BEING COLD

Weather is still pretty foul here. Dry but cloudy and very breezy still.

No damage in garden from what I can see.

sincerely hope I'm not driving to-day.

OH heading " up country" to-day, but only for one day!!! Home tomorrow night.

    Devon.

Looks as though it will be a sunny day today, but quite cool at the moment. Hope we can relax a bit after the BBQ.

Tomorrow I'm going to see my daughter, taking electric fencing, her birthday present.  Tuesday DIL & family are passing near here in their camper van on holiday so we'll take them out to lunch, Wednesday, packing for Norfolk. Have to take a posh frock as we are going to a birthday party at the weekend in Kent. Friday, lunch in Norwich.

Not sure yet, may be Roger Hickman but OH hasn't booked yet so don't know if you need to book long in advance. OH is buying me an eternity ring image, there isn't a romantic smiley!

Cool here too Hosta. I refuse to put the heating on - I have a throw over me instead. Just living  up to the 'mean Scot' stereotype  image

I woke up just in time to see Mo!  Fantastic wasn't it? Then the girls in the relay - how terrific they all are. What on earth am I going to do tomorrow when it's all over...image image

I should have some breakfast...anyone got croissants or pains au choc going? image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
