Morning Clari and Dove. Clari I've spent the WHOLE day colouring in my Kew Gardens book . And watching the history channel. Many interesting things. I hope your back is sorted soon. Hubby is still visiting the chiropractor every week for his knee. At least he gets relief from his visits, but it only last about a day or so and then it's hurting again. The Dr has washed his hands about it.
Dove, we love middle eastern food, and now I fancy a kebab! darn it. We have both lebanese and Turkish restaurants in town. Glad you had good chips.
Lovely photos of DD and Charlie looking happy. Hope I will get an invite one day
Didn't come here yesterday, busy morning then watched the whole of the dressage on the red button. Fabulous. I used to do a bit of dressage, not as easy as they make it look, though my mare could do extended trot and canter sideways.
We got a new TV for our bedroom recently, the other was 15 years old. We have Sky in the sitting room and a Freebox with satellite in the bedroom. But French Freebox is via an ordinary aerial, so I would think you could get UK Freebox with an ordinary aerial in the UK.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Its grey and raining here, so at least that has saved me going out with the hosepipe.
Had a fabulous spa day with my mum yesterday to celebrate her 60th, and then a tasty meal out with the family last night. Inexplicably feeling worn out from doing not much at all yesterday, so no plans yet other than doing a food shop.
Morning all/afties Pat. Hope hubby can get some progress with the knee. How frustrating that your doc is 'out of ideas'.
Wasn't it terrific BL? Don't you just love Carl Hester though? I adore him. I've nailed my colours to the mast on the 'lympics thread.
We had those freeview boxes for the girls little TVs at the last house Liri - bit rural and no aerial points in every room like modern houses, so they needed internal plug in aerials. They were ok, but I think they're better with a proper, direct aerial, so as long as you have that, it should work well.
Clari - plenty of sofa holding/'lympics viewing should be ideal for you today. Hope your back is a bit better today though.
Weather doesn't look that great - at least the rain has stopped though. Hope it stays that way - I've got washing on
The down pipe on the extension has worked loose so I'll need to fix that today - there was a bit of a deluge spilling into the new border....

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
BL - do you have Sky or something similar? They're always showing the programmes on the Horse and Country channel that he did from his yard, and all the exhibitions and training events etc. They're fabulous.
Rain's back on now...

Yesterday was a day of watering and 'lympics watching. Much excited shouting at the telly - particularly in that men's pursuit final .....I thought they were going to miss out
No sunshine today, so will get out there and do some weeding .....but will be stopping at 3 for more telly watching ......didn't think I would get into Rio because of the time difference, but how wrong I was. Makes me sad to see all those empty seats though

Yes Fairy, love Carl Hester. He seems a lovely person. I used to read his articles when I used to get Horse and Rider magazine.
I'm relaxed, all right Joyce, but feeling a bit guilty. Never mind, I did work hard, the last two days.
