Joyce, I was wading through fallen leaves when I took the dog out this morning and my lilies and agapanthus have only just come out. Looking forward to the Autumn colours though
Been busy - more moving Possum and sorting and packing and people still need feeding in between!
Oh took the dogs out while I cooked and had a fine time - warm evenings bring out the hot air balloons. 7 at once this evening and Bonzo doggy hates them with a vengeance so either buries his nose up the back of OH's knees - extreme walking to heel action - or else leaps about in front squealing and barking. Now he's curled up on the sofa being as small as a Labrador can get and having his ears rubbed. Bonzo heaven - apart from food.
I have trouble driving an ordinary mobile phone. Can't imagine ever needing or conquering an i-phone.
It is not officially autumn here till the 21st.

A pretty quiet day here. Ate fish and chips in the park with mum earlier, reminded me of being a kid.
Watching Bake Off at the moment. I love a bit of gingerbread. A few years ago I cooked up a batch of gingerbread men, came down the next morning to find the lid that had been gently resting on the tin had been moved and there was one decapitated gingerbread man close by. My husband was away, so I was the only person in the house at the time, and as a result one of the cats got the blame. Eventually thinking that eating gingerbread was probably a bit odd, even by my crazy cats standards, I decided to check the statistics on my Fitbit. Sure enough, around 3am it showed I had been for a short walk downstairs, presumably decided to eat the head on a gingerbread, and return to bed. As far as I know it is the only time I've had an episode of sleep walking!
Had a wonderful day with Charlie on his birthday, all low key this year but lovely just the same.
Bit down now as I have had to leave him at Daddy's and won't see him until Saturday morning, but I have got him all week end and we are going to the cinema and a party so that will be fun. It's his first day back at school tomorrow and he is in a new class with a new teacher so will miss all the excitement of that but I am working long hours tomorrow and Friday so hoping that will distract me. He is rubbish on the phone, but I might get a partial update.
Now I am off to bed with a good book, going to try and enjoy some 'me time'. TV still not connected but I don't watch it much anyway, was hoping to catch GBBO but think I've blown it now, the TV man says next Tuesday.
So, goodnight all & I'll catch up tomorrow.

DD, lovely to hear you had a good day with Charlie on his birthday.
Your 'me time' is important as you are working such long hours.
Time should, hopefully, make it easier to cope with the times that Charlie is not with you.
It will soon be Saturday and you will hear all his school news
Fave line on Bake off. " can you just grab my jugs"
There is a filthy hashtag on twitter relating to Bake Off, I dare not mention it here!
Tis hilarious tho!
Didn't see it trending Steve. Must be my modesty filters!
Does it link in to "your sister tastes lovely" at all?
