Joyce; schools go back soon so I'm making the most of the quiet time!

Unfortunately HE WON'T go to bed. Insists on snuffling around being miserable.

Clari, my sympathies! I've given my cold to OH as well! Insisting on shuffling round coughing and saying "urgh" I'm trying to fix him with steak, dauphinoise potatoes and purple sprouting broccoli. image

I'll have some too as a preventative measure! image

Bushman, sounds like you are becoming quite domesticated! I'm impressed! Wonky hug image

Dove, couldn't believe it when I came up from the basement for a brandy and saw you awake at

Wonky I've filled him with rum and coke than while he was distracted he managed to eat spaghetti bog. Hopefully he'll now feel sleepy and leave puppy and I in peace!

Ooh is there a heat wave coming just when we are coming to Norfolk? But I hope it won't be a too hot heatwave.

Thanks Wonky, mid twenties is great. Forecast here later this week is too hot, into the 30s. Glad he liked dinner. We had ours on the terrace. Cooler after the rain, I even wore a cardi!

Topped his lordship off with a lemsip and both he and the hound are snoring away.

Is it too late for me to put a tent up in the garden? I have the immune booster tablets Dove recommended rattling around inside me so I hope I'll escape the sniffles.
