I love your tales of hubby resisting your caring advice and the photos of your dog.
Obelixx, your energy has quite worn me out. I don't know how you do it.
hello to everyone else. Been woken for a bladder call (Joyce hope you can relate) and now thinking about letting myself nod off again. Hubby and my little hound are fast asleep.
Evening all. Having a little break in the "Kingdom" staying at a beautiful garden, got all my snowdrops from here in last years. The ever progressing Cambo estate Did you kniw pigs
eat ivy which covers snowdrops? Nope either did I
tried to read back but wifi sporadic. Hope all are well?
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Morning all. Bad night; when his lordship wasn't snoring so loud it killed any chance of sleep he was getting up and letting the dog into the bedroom because he wanted cuddles. Unfortunately puppy wanted cuddles with me.
I'm knackered! Good job I'm visiting family tonight so can kip on their sofa / floor.
About to go and make a huge cup of tea. Anyone else want one?
Huge cuppa tea sounds very welcome Clari - yes please
Rainy night should have set the garden up well for the fine weather this week. Shame I will be stuck in an office
Decided lots of things were in the wrong place during my weeding session yesterday, so now have a list of moves to make come the autumn. The search for PPPs (perfect planting places) continues
Morning all/afties Pat if you're there - I haven't looked back beyond this page yet
Hope the weather holds for you LP
You and me both chicky. I still haven't planted the harebells - still in their 3" pots Just as well they're very forgiving. I have planted some stuff in the new bed, but I've lots of changing round of things to do. Big sigh
Off for a quick look round before I head out. Have a good day everyone.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Warm and wet sounds good for trying to sort out the rubbishy end of the herb bed which got flooded in the spring - the big sage bush turned up its toes and died. It would also be a good time to try to improve the front lawn which is now full of brown moss - I've discovered that Homebase hire out electric scarifiers - if I give the front lawn a good going over now I could oversow some seed in early September to give it a bit of a boost ......... problem is I may have to get the Under Gardener to assist with some of these jobs as I seem to have developed a bit of a rotator cuff problem in my right shoulder. I 'spect it's a sporting injury - I'm blaming the 'lympics
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Clari, you deserve some sleep tonight
Rain,

Hi everyone. I'm a bit late looking today. I've been watching you tube videos of people colouring in.
Good fun though.
its been misting rain all day and cold, so point in going outside. Good thing I did three loads of washing yesterday.
have a good day all.
