and Olay was called Oil of Ulay.

  • And a finger of fudge was just enough to give your kids a treat!

    I still remember that tune.

A finger of fudge was definitely preferable to Spangles and Opal Fruits (made to make your mouth water..)image

And treets melted in your mouth not in your hand. You can still get Tiffin in Ireland.

Then there was the clogate ring of confidence and SR had haxachlorophine in the stripes and 1001 cleaned a big big carpet for less than half a crown. Apparently it was the live action foam that was responsible. But if it didn't work, there was always shake and vac to put the freshness back.

The yellow OE spangled were the best.

I liked  Terrys blackcurrant pastilles too.

It did my teeth no good at all working a summer in a sweet shop when I was 17.

Well you had to test them all to know what you was selling.

I still eat Maltesers because they are the lighter way to eat chocolate and have a less fattening centre image

DDITH if you have blankets, sheets, big flat things, your local animal shelter would take them. I once had two guinea pigs neutered and they came home happily ensconsed on a rubber glove containing warm water and covered with a 1/4 of a facecloth. image Pounds and shelters and so on are always grateful for things like that.

Malteasers are the best...and Texan bars!
