Bloody Banks. Just drove into town, to pay a cheque in, branch closed down. Thought no problem, drove another 6 miles, Bank has Thursday closing.

How can you lie there and think of England

And tomorrow wil be the holiday doc, I take it?

Do they ever stop to wonder why we hate the whole banking empire....image

Take it easy today Hosta. Did he get a weight, or just a 'wait'? .... image

Hope the sting's better today Dove, and that you have a good break BL. I agree with you about the earthquake. The access is such a huge problem. Desperately sad. Someone had just mentioned a weather related issue here the other day and I'd posted saying we moan about our weather but at least we don't have the stuff they get in other countries. Then the following day....

Good luck with the move chicky. Always a big worry, but hopefully it will go well.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Banks, PAH. I'm with you fairy.

OH needs cash tomorrow. Went into Barclays " up country" ( his own branch ) and asked if he could collect it here . " No , we can't do that, you have to order it at your own branch"

Went into local branch. " we can't reserve money, if we don't have that much , you'll have to come back"

A customer of OH was once asked why he wanted to withdraw cash and what did he intend to do with it"

" It's my money and I shall do with it as I please. For all you know, I'm going to have a bonfire and destroy the lot"

    Devon.

It's all to do with money laundering, although why they expect anyone involved in nefarious activities to tell them the truth beats me image

We're very luck re banks (so far) as there's a branch here in the village  and the staff are really helpfulimage

I'm off to bed, so good night all.

Still upset about the earthquake in Italy, and I said to Hubby I wonder where the next one will be because there's usually more than one when they go off, and sure enough now Burma and neighbouring country has had one, horrible destruction of ancient temples, etc.

    catch you all tomorrow.
