Dewdrops, I'm so sorry to hear of your sad news, best wishes to you and all your family.

  • Thank you for the wishes and hugs, they are very much appreciated. I'm going to try to get some sleep now, it's been a very long day.

    So sorry Dewdrops.

Worn out after another evening watching the Olympics.

Trott and Kenny have now won more gold medals than Spain.

I add my sympathies, Dewdrops. A difficult time for you and the family. I hope the paperwork gets sorted out soon so that arrangements can be finalised and you can all get back onto an even keel.

lantana, I'm told the snakes over there are not venomous, so you might even enjoy having your feet and ankles massaged!image

off to town soon for our weekly shop etc.

weather predictions are for a very cold "low" moving across from WA. The temp has already dropped - not helped by the fire going out last night and had to be re-lit this morning, so the lounge room is very cool. HRH has been dancing around like a puppy, so maybe that's how she warms herself up.

Morning all! A little tired after a later than expected night watching the cycling. If we felt stressed imagine what it was like in the crowd there!

Dew; really sorry to hear about your family member. I hope you got some sleep.

My view right now ... :/

Gorgeous, Clari. I had a similar experience with HRH this morning, she woke and looked at me putting shoes and socks on, then turned her head back onto her cushion and promptly went back to sleep. I had to laugh. You can almost see their brains working and saying to themselves, I'm not getting up yet - to heck with them!

It looks like another lovely day - think we'll have to put the seep hose on the Shady Bank again.

Morning Dove. I've been watering too. Even though it's not warm, it's dried out already.
