Hubby has returned from his fire brigade truck driving testing weekend. Thought you might like to see the gate they had to go through. I had a good laugh. It's because people from several groups use this property for truck driving tests so they each need a key apparently.
Lantana, it's 5.40pm here (Sunday). I don't know the answer to your suggestion about one key doing it all. I often have a good laugh of some of the things I hear about around here. The property has good sites for testing heavy trucks on hill climbs, etc. so I guess they don't want any old yahoo mocking it up.
we have had such a ghastly start to the day, two dogs here and one had been dreadfully ill during the night. Really really bad. The worst part is that this dog is crated (for his own safety as he is a scavenger) he had chewed and forced his way out the crate, really damaging his nose in his desperation. I feel Like a criminal. Needless to say the crate will not be used again. The poor dog must have been frantic, Vet been phoned. Waiting for a return call.

Morning all/afties Pat - had a laugh at your picture. Then I wondered if the gate actually opens on the other side...just for a bit of fun....
LP - horrible start to your day. Hope all is well.
Dry and windy here...hope we might miss the rain but I think it's coming later. I'd like to get the grass cut
Nice sweet peas Dewdrops. Mine have been flowering for a while, but I think I was lucky with my timing this year. I find the whites never seem to be as prolific, although it may be down to seed quality too. I grew a couple of good whites last year but they weren't quite as strong growing as I'd have liked. I've grown Juliet this year which has been ok, but not a real white - and a rogue wishy washy pink among them too. Cupani has been a delight, as always. It's my favourite
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Last day in Amsterdam. Lazy one planned as 5am start tomorrow to get home.
We've had a wonderful time and met some really lovely people.
We sat beside a girl yesterday, dangling our legs over the edge of a canal waiting for the parade. She was joined by her girlfriend and her mother. Apparently there had " been a threat" and her mother said. " if they're going to kill you , I'm going to be there with you"
Hope all is well back home . Back in the morning and back to work on Tuesday. It's all gone too quickly, as usual.

Sure are, Joyce. A very enjoyable time waster.

Part 1 of the test. . . . open the gate
Well done. I was trying to think of a caption - that's perfect!

That sounds awful Lilyp.
I had to wake HRH this morning at 11am so that I could do the tip run. Talk about sleep.

Don't know Fairy. Hubby doesn't know either, but I'm sure someone has tried it.
