Evening all. I'm trying to wake up but don't feel much like poking my head outside yet.

Hubby has just left for his second day of training.  I might have another easy day.image

  • Evening all. I've had a busy few days, it seems lots has happened here! Happy anniversary to everyone who has celebrated one, it was mine and the husbands 6th wedding anniversary today.

DD glad you'll soon be in your new place.

My relative is still in hospital, but they've started a drain and blood transfusion which seems to be making them more comfortable.

I was over the moon to be able to pick my first sweet pea flowers today! I was beginning to think they'd never flower, and that if done something wrong (first time growing them). Popped them in a mini mug with a cosmos flower that fell victim to over-jealous deadheading. A nice anniversary surprise that makes me smile when I go in the kitchen!

Very warm today, so other than a bit of watering and deadheading I haven't done much in the garden. Husband and I did measure up the area for the summerhouse and have decided to go for a 10x8' one. Just need to decided which summerhouse we want......that could take a while!

Morning all and afternoon Pat image

Dry and quite windy this morning. Hope the forecast strong overnight winds, for some of us, don't wreck plants

WW, Sore head this morning?image (or more likely afternoon)

LP, after your previous pic, I'm surprised that you have sweet peas in flower image

    Good morning all image

Hot and sticky night here and now the sun has burned off the cloud we've got a beautiful warm and sunny morning here in Norfolk.  Sorry to those of you in the Northwest - think you've got wet and windy image

Why don't you all pop down here for the afternoon - ginger beer and Campari and sodas on the terrace at Ipm everyone? image

Mind you, evidence of autumn on it's way has arrived in this garden too - the Cyclamen hederifolium are in bloom ... I love them but they're always a sign of autumn for me ...
