Morning all when you wake up. Liri, happy anniversary. Good to see Pdoc still has his sense of humour. He started a train of thought which became very entertaining.

we are off to town in about an hour , I would have liked a bit more time in bed. image

By the time we are back, some of you will be waking I expect. image

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

Lizzie I hope that things get back on a more even keel for you in the future.  The service did sound very special and a fitting tribute to your friend,  Well done with your flower prize.  I saw the photo on the flowers thread and they looked wonderfulimage.

Dewdrops hopefully you will get some more encouraging news today (hugs).

Fancy forgetting your anniversary Liriimage.  Perhaps you should go out and celebrate again this weekend in case you forget next year as wellimage

Well, the cases are packed, the dog in kennels, eldest son being ferried to Auntie's later and then we're off to Glasgow airport.  Now what have I forgottenimage.

    Have a good day everyoneimage

Morning all/afties Pat. Hope your trip has been good.

Have a good trip too Lesley - hope the M8 isn't too vile  image

Are you parking your rear on your jolly bench today Dove? image

That's the trouble with workmen Lantana - they just don't give a toss. You have to be there all the time to monitor them - something you shouldn't have to do as it's your neighbour's responsibility to make sure your property isn't affected by their work. Sadly - many of them don't care much either image

If you're looking in Joyce - I watched the first part of CM's prog. That Ben More! I'd thought of doing it as my 100th Munro last year but it didn't fit in with the timing. Not one you can do in a day unfortunately because of the ferry etc. It's often done as the last one as he said. Great camerawork as always.

Should have let Topbird know...The Pilgrim's Trail T'bird! The Adventure Show again - Monday night and last night. Tonight is another one - Galloway to Islay  image

I'm still in jimjams but will need to go out to pick all the sweet peas before the next downpour.  Wellies will complete the look nicelyimage.

Dewdrops I meant to say how comfy your cat looked but there was also the warning in his eyes that says 'don't dare move me'image.

    Morning image

Time for a cuppa (make that a mugga) in bed.

We had over 24 hours of rain yesterday. Not constant but more on than off and really nice gentle stuff too. Should have given everything a really good watering and softened the ground which was starting to resemble concrete in some places.

Hoping to do a little planting this morning then forecast to be hot so something more relaxing (or inside at least) for this afternoon.

Have a good one whatever you're up to image

Edit: Fairygirl & Joyce - I picked up that there was a series of The Adventure Show on at the moment so have been recording them to watch with OH - thanks for thinking of me image
