The garden bench is finished. This is our new sunny corner where the poorly ash tree was felled in November

  • I managed to make a start on my front garden this morning. Rain was forecast but didn't arrive till couple of hours ago. Its much needed the ground is so dry. I watchedThe Imitation Game lastnight too and really liked it. Verysad at the end tho.. Now i am watching an episode of Garden Rescue on catch up.

  • Thank you again for your kind words.

Husband cooked us a chilli for dinner....except I forgot to buy the chilli powder when I went shopping last week, so it wasn't really a chilli at all. It was still very pleasant though, and I enjoyed the mint and green tea ice cream we had after.

Just been informed we've run out of cat food, so I had better go order some....

Dew-drops, I hope there is no connection between the disappearing cat food and the unusual chilli image image.

  • image Steephill!

It is all fun and games with the cats here though....yesterday the long haired one had a 'cling on' image  which resulted in me having to run around the house after her with baby wipes trying to catch her before she reached the clean bed sheets. image

Pat, I googled that rose. Thank you, it's lovely. Love the colour and it's repeat flowering and fragrant too. Hope I can find one.  Or do you think I'd need one either side of arch?
