I remember that Dove, I was 10 and I got paid a pound a day and a cream tea! you made me a frilly apron and I developed my love of Darjeeling tea! happy days!
Hello to everyone!
Dewdrops, sorry to hear your news, glad you got to spend some time with your Mum in a lovely garden though.
DD,great to hear from you! Sounds head spinning busy with you! Best wishes to you and charlie
Happy laptop choosing Panda!
Greetings to each and every one of you! Off to worm Flatters...if I don't type anything else, its cuz he's chewed my hands off!
I managed to make a start on my front garden this morning. Rain was forecast but didn't arrive till couple of hours ago. Its much needed the ground is so dry. I watchedThe Imitation Game lastnight too and really liked it. Verysad at the end tho.. Now i am watching an episode of Garden Rescue on catch up.
Husband cooked us a chilli for dinner....except I forgot to buy the chilli powder when I went shopping last week, so it wasn't really a chilli at all. It was still very pleasant though, and I enjoyed the mint and green tea ice cream we had after.
Just been informed we've run out of cat food, so I had better go order some....
It is all fun and games with the cats here though....yesterday the long haired one had a 'cling on' which resulted in me having to run around the house after her with baby wipes trying to catch her before she reached the clean bed sheets.
Dew drops, sorry only just read your news, hugs and best wishes x
DD, hope all goes well for you and Charlie x
Pat, I googled that rose. Thank you, it's lovely. Love the colour and it's repeat flowering and fragrant too. Hope I can find one. Or do you think I'd need one either side of arch?

The garden bench is finished. This is our new sunny corner where the poorly ash tree was felled in November

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Ooooh Dove the bench would cheer me up on the dullest of days
DD, good for Charlie seeing himself taking an active role in your new life.
Fairy, did you see the views from Ben More tonight?

That's a beautiful colour Dove!!
Dew-drops, I hope there is no connection between the disappearing cat food and the unusual chilli
.
