Hello all. Been out all day seeing daughter 2. Went to a restaurant by a river for lunch. Ate outside. There was a playground for the grandchildren. Then we went to a pretty part of the river where there was a dam and a bathing beach.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning Daisy. Bit early for football - although at least it was the real thing and not a computergame. Won't be long before they're back at school
Shaping up to be a lovely day ....just been to open up the GH and my very first tomato is going red. At this rate I might even get a ripe one by September
That was a rather rude awakening Daisy. I'm going to visit Mum and Dad so have been busy cooking for the freezer, packing etc, ready for tomorrow morning.
Enjoy your celebrations today Obelixx and belated congratulations. I think you deserve a break from all the hard work recently.
Hope you're having an enjoyable break LilyP. It sounds a lovely place.
Right, another load of washing to put on. Don't know where it all comes from.
Damp here but I have cake to make later so no outside stuff anyway. Daughter wants a 'deconstructed' chocolate cake. Nice and easy - choc sponge and a bowl of whipped cream. She's easily pleased
Don't think I'd be too happy with that Daisy, although round here we get it at the other end of the day when it's getting dark. Ours have been back at school for a week so it's a bit better now.
My toms are just starting to ripen too chicky - wondering if it was worth it this year! I have one plant in the big kitchen window - had two from it so it's not much further on..
I'll have a quick look round now as work beckons. Have a good day all
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning everyone. another slack day here. Hubby has been practising using his little helicopter gadget and taking videos of the roof, etc. I'm hoping he'll get good enough to set it whizzing around the garden when the mob of choughs arrive. Throwing stones or sticks doesn't work.
ive been involved with the colouring again, or should I say , still. Ive weakened and ordered some goodies from the SAA in the UK. A set of Derwent inktense pencils and a couple of other odd little things.

Around here, if you always feel the cold , you are "Nesh"
Maybe it came to the East Midlands from Durham with the miners that moved here in the 60's

Up early as a group of kids decided to play football at 5.15 this morning. It was hardly even light.
I am all for healthy living but.... grrr.
Might as well get a wash on and take advantage of the 30 degrees forecast this afternoon.
Morning Daisy
