No pressure Yvie, no pressure. I honestly don't mind how often I hear that national anthem
Pdoc you must get fitter watching the olympics. If you were in bed you'd lie still but if you're sitting, getting up for a drink or the loo, waving your arms in the air or shouting/cheering then it must count
Wonky I hope you got some good bargains at the car boot and that it makes you feel better, Colds are always worse first thing in the morning or night. Stay upright and have a brandy.
Afties all. Home from the hill and having a cuppa. My buns must be tight enough by now to allow an evening on the sofa watching 'lympics....surely?
I see KT's nice Olympic thread is being spoiled... sigh. It was such a nice one where we were all complimenting and supporting our smashing sportsmen and women, and having the odd laugh at the commentators. Leopards and spots right enough...
Doc - I think Lesley's right. Bounce about on the sofa and you won't feel guilty at all!
Good walk - not a very thrilling hill, but it didn't matter. Great views - especially neighbouring Munro Ben Vorlich, although the cloud was down quite a bit on all the highest tops. Made the hills look moody and interesting - just how I like my men...
Didn't meet any nice young men today, but there was a bloke who looked a bit lost - map out, studied it, then a few steps, then map out again. Too far away for me to ask if he was ok, but frankly, if he couldn't get down from where he was, he should have stayed home and watched the 'lympics too!
Better go for a shower so I can park my butt for the tennis. Come on Andy - no tension today please!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Doesn't look as if it's been terribly good here Joyce. Seems to have been dry enough though and not too cold. No wind really.
My little visitor's ears must have been burning - he was sitting on the shed roof this morning when I put my stuff in the car. Got the camera but he'd skipped onto the feeder for a bit of breakfast

6 customers, Sat Nav only got me to one of them. One drop was roughly 10, yes ten miles from the customer, who , staying in the middle of nowhere, had no phone reception. Luckily I just happened to ask directions of someone who knew where it was. " that's flippin' milesssssssssssssssssssss away from here" she said. She was right.
Posts
Yvie, remember to post pic of quilt on the "Craft" thread.
Beautiful, warm, sunny afternoon
Yes Yviestevie. I'm looking forward to seeing it as well.

Lantana, 30 miles from Glasgow and gardened in a t-shirt today
Thank you Joyce. I've watched some but we were back from lunch a bit late. They are raking the course now and I'm making a cup of tea.
Lantana ....

So much for technology.

8 1/2 hour shift without a single break. ggrr.
Carry an ordnance survey map with you Hosta. More reliable.
Maybe some food/fluid as well
Can't have you totally fading away. . . .
GPS was of no use to me today either - no satellite signal for it till I was half way. Had to rely on my own cunning plan ...
Are you lying down in a darkened room now Hosta?
