Hi Lantana. Hope you are having a good sleep.

Have done two loads of washing and there's not a cloud in the sky. A bit of wind though, so everything should dry.

Have watered the pots behind the house. It's amazing how quickly they need a drink when there's no rain about, even though the nights are cold and damp. We had a fog roll in quite early last night.

Clari, what about a week or two doing research and development in East Anglia? We've got a few famous lifeboat museums virtually on the beach - you can't get a more 'emergency vehicle' than a lifeboat !imageimage

I work well with the RNLI education team, I'm sure if they booked me into a meeting the boss would have to let me go! Lifeboats are awesome, the people that crew them even more so.

Are we having the hottest day of the year today?

Sounds creepy, Clari. I've always been freckly, so when the other blotches appeared with age, I just accepted them. image

    Morning allimage

Gorgeous morning, but definite nip in the air.  Feels like one of those "back to school" mornings of my childhood......but they were always in Septemberimage. Just been out amd harvested another bowl full of Opal plums.  The tree is 5 years old and this is the first time we have had more than one or two fruit - its making up for it with a spectacular bumper year this year.  They are lovely and sweet, so very pleasedimage.  Its also ripening way ahead of our Victoria Plum, so we will have ripe plums coming for weeks ......good job the Chicklets are fruit monstersimage
