Have had a lovely afternoon out with ma and pa at the RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show ???? First time I've been there in the summer and we didn't even look around the borders!!
Evening all, The weather has been glorious today. Done a bit of tidying up in the garden and a bit of planning for next year but mainly I have been relaxing. Feeling much better now aches and pains are much more manageable.
Lovely pics Panda - I'd forgotten Hyde Hall was on this week.
Glad you had a good day Hosta and a good turnout - although emergency workers dancing to the Bee Gees does sound a bit cliched (in a Village People sort of way)
I'm afraid I've not done too much beyond making sure the recliner couldn't float away...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Glad Panda and 'the Hostas' have had fun days out. Nice pix Panda - when are we seeing yours Hosta?
Been outside for a fair bit so not a total waste of the day. Rain came on and looked set for the day but it went off again. I'm a bit tired after my early start, but I've put some salmon in the oven for dinner.
That sounded a good meal Clari - must be difficult for you when I expect so many places don't cater terribly well. Something most of us probably take for granted.
Poor Pat with her unwelcome 'guest'. That would drive me nuts
doc - if you get a chance, download the recent episodes of The Adventure Show with Cameron McNeish (BBC2 Scotland) There's been quite a few of his distance walks on in the last couple of weeks.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Evening all.
The lovely Dutch weather folk were right. Turned out to be a glorious sunny afternoon. Even got a wee bit red ( down one side )
Over 80 boats / barges in the parade and a great turnout.
The one that made me laugh was the Ambulance crew's barge where they had a dance routine to The Bee Gees " Stayin' Alive"
Lovely pics Panda

Panda those photographs are beautiful! Such vibrant colour.
Home from work and starting the washing mountain. If some one could explain WHY I like to save it for one day I'd be grateful!
Pizza and salad tonight; nice and simple.
It's an important job Topbird - there's still a bit of a breeze out there!
Glad you've had a lovely outing Panda
And glad you and hubby are having a fab time in Amsterdam Hosta

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
