The leccy was only off a bit last night, was on before bedtime, but we switched off the Wifi in case there were further storms in the night. No storms today but cooler.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Thanks Clari.

    Ironing, you say.....what is that?

    See original post

ssshhhhh don't draw attention to it! I have to iron work shirts (can't have him looking a scruffy bugger!) But I also iron our bedsheets... it makes them feel extra luxurious! (Well as luxurious as you can get from Ikea bedsheets!)

  • My goodness, I turn my back for a day and suddenly the conversation has turned to smut and filth and talk of over the shoulder boulder holders!

Glad you'll be joining in Muddled.

Feel wide awake. Not conducive for work tomorrow.

  • Thank you all for your kind words, we are hoping to have a better idea of what is going on by tomorrow afternoon as the consultants should have been able to review the case further.

I worked in a Chemists about 16 years ago when I was in sixth form. I don't remember any particularly awkward customers, but we did have one who tried to set himself alight after being told he couldn't have his methadone, and another who refused to be served by anyone other than myself- if I was on my lunch break he would insist on waiting. I remember that job quite fondly, I worked with two other girls who were the same age as me, and enjoyed the training we received regarding sales of drugs. It was also a lot less physically demanding than the farm work I used to do too! Although, lambing and so on obviously has its rewards!
