Oh sorry BL, you're right, it seems to have been closed down in the last hour.  That's a shame.

I posted on it just before 10pm so hope my comment wasn't the reason for closing the thread.

Just catching up.  So very sorry that David K has gone.  A very knowledgeable gardener and photographer.  A great loss to the site.  Not sure if "the powers that be" have yet made the connection that it is people like David who make people keep logging in to this site, because they know they will always find good, reliable advice from experts like him.  And whilst they are getting that advice, they read the adverts.  Which is where the money is made.

Seems very short sighted to deal with people in such a high handed way that they feel they have to leave ....... And thus leave the forum poorer as a result.  Madness.

Flipping eck, first up, that doesn't happen very often.  Off on an early Nanna duty today.  Hope everyone has a lovely day.  Haven't seen the news yet so don't know what's going on in the world.  Might keep it like that all dayimage

Have a great day Nanny! I hope the warm weather doesn't cause grumbling.

I am now in full snot and sneezing. What a way to spend the hottest day! I am hoping to make a gazebo in the garden and then just lay there til his lordship gets home.

Please remember to drink plenty; even if you're not feeling the thirst let's spoil our kidneys they deserve the treat.

    Morning all.
Forecast is 39°. I'm going to a funeral. An English friend in France died last week, younger than my OH. His wife is lovely, but they live a little far away to be close friends. Dreading it, he was a farmer before retiring, seemed so fit. The awful cancer.
