Morning Dove - its a lovely morning here too - just been and watered my pots The rain has done that for me over the last couple of weeks
Last day at college for littlest Chicklet - so my last day of rushing to catch a train until mid September. Will still have to get myself to work, but the odd minute delay here and there won't hurt any more
Nurses appointment this morning then I'll be ready to get my scrubbing on in the classroom. I'm hoping it's the good nurse who is obviously passionate and willing to kick the doctors arse with a helpful "have they tried" rather than there "you just need to do what the doctors say" (when its obviously not working because for starts the receptionist won't let me see said doctor and thus I've not had any tablets for a month now) nurse.
Chicky: enjoy having a much more relaxed Checkley! Has she grand plans for the holidays?
Chicky I have a theory - Fairy wished you a 'Wallace and Gromit' yesterday and I think you ducked the cameras because you were wearing The Wrong Trousers. Am I right?. Glad you enjoyed it and look forward to your pics later.
Hair appointment this morning and hopefully it will stay dry this afternoon for OH to cut the grass and me to cut the edges. The patchwork effect of buttercups, daisies and clover does look quite pretty though.
Good luck with getting the 'right' nurse Clari and don't wear yourself into the ground with the cleaning
chicky - did you notice I stuck with Goran rather than Ivanis...Ivenosev...Ivanestefan....you get the picture.... Lovely tennis-y memories.
Lovely here too, though chilly, but rain later apparently so that's the guilt free tennis ok'd for me then
Lesley - as long as it wasn't 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' ...
Clari - you can't beat getting someone to kick a** to get the morning off to a good start. Good luck. Do you think some doctors get a bit complacent when they've treated someone for a long time?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all. Sunny, forecast here should hit 30° by Friday.
Going to daughter 1 today, 3 grandsons (5 - 10), they've just moved to a bigger house (as has daughter 2). No internet yet, so see you on Friday or Saturday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Miserable bloomin' day here. The rain is freezing and I've not seen the sun all day.
I hope you all enjoy your lovely weather.
Daughter and son apparently enjoyed their dinner last night, I've spoken to both of them today.
Ive been trying to watch my digital painting DVDs, but in the first one, he speaks so quickly and by the time I've tried to follow what he said, he's had finger on something and moved on. - yes, I know, it's old age in my case. So this afternoon, I tried the second DVD, and guess what, it was a blank DVD.
Hubby has emailed the SAA to tell them, but we'll sort it out gradually. I've now started to read the accompanying books and I'm convinced that I need a holiday.
