I went to B&Q for a tin of Colourshades to do a wooden trough and, as you do, went out for a look at the reduced plants. . . . two, 5l pots of alstromerias and a 5l pot with a deep pink hydrangea will be on the patio until a home is found for them Also 10% off as it's Wednesday
Purchases have brightened a dull, drizzly day. Sun promised for tomorrow
You've got me pegged, Kitty. Tomorrow sounds interesting and HRH will appreciate it as well. Just realised its no longer tomorrow, it will be today After several hours sleep. Thanks.
Hazel, be careful what you wish for. It's so complicated and no quick push a button, you've got to do all sorts of things to it. Hubby organised for my fingerprint to open it, but nothing happens when I put my finger on it, so I have to type in my password each time.
What colour did you get for your trough Joyce? Have you plans for what to plant in it or, do as I do - like a colour and am then stuck with hard choices. Nice plants though.
My hair's OK which is 100pc better than it was yesterday. Now I feel as though midges are still biting after pulling up loads of horse/mares tail from the front garden. Still, it's raining now (tennis on).
Pat - the iPad art sounds just up your street. There is no way you can take in all the information within a couple of days. It's a learning process that will take a while. Enjoy the process and I hope you get recompensed for the blank dvd.
Nail-biting tennis being watched. Nail biting tennis to watch sometime soon. Then nail biting football later (and I go on about the men)
Hi Lesley I knew I shouldn't have peeped back in, but there you are. It's not easy to tell this a short way, but ...
when we ordered the birthday parcel of DVD and books etc, it didnt arrive after a month, so Hubby emailed them to ask if it had been sent. They sent a second set. Well the first one arrived on 3 July and had been posted in the UK on 4 June, so it took a month to get here. We emailed to say it had arrived, but they had already sent the replacement so she said give it to a friend or art group. Very good of them. so now that we've discovered that one of them was blank, we advised them in case there were more like it And said perhaps the replacement one might work. So, when it arrives (maybe it'll take among again), we will see. How's that for a sleepy short answer.
Lesley, I bought Iris colourshade as I have a few blue ceramic pots at the other side of the trough. I removed 2 sickly hebes from it and have put annuals in for the summer.
Worn out after watching Federer v Cilic... . Hope Andy doesn't put us through more of the same - I will have no nails left...
Just had time for a quick shower, phone brother (it's his birthday) and text friend who's poorly before holding down the sofa again. Glad I prepared tonight's dinner last night...
Shifted a compost bin full this morning - beds look better for mulching but my back is complaining now.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

I typed "iPad art tutorials" into the google search bar and loads popped up.
If you change the thing at the top from "All" to "Video's" it shows you all the filmed stuff.
Maybe something worth a nosey at on a rainy afternoon with a blanket on your lap and HRH napping at your side

Now I really am turning this off. It's after 1am.
Great fight back from Roger
