You're not alone Pat, I often get confused when I ask my daughter to show me how to...... on the computer. Her fingers fly so fast I can't keep up
I remember watching "Paint along with Nancy" on daytime TV when I was off school sick in the 70s. A lovely leisurely half hour, as she created a picture with thick oil paint and small pallette knives.
Have you tried looking for tutorials on YouTube Pat? I've picked up lots of info and tips on various subjects from slow cooker recipes/gardening/stain removal/plumbing etc..........
A real mixed bag but very helpful when I haven't a clue.
Funnily enough Welsh is the only bit of UK blood I don't have. The rest is English, Danish, Irish and Scots but I don't do football either way. Hope they do well though. Got to love their team spirit.
We've had a sunny start to the day but have been running important errands. Now it's clouding over again but supposed to stay dry. Academic as I have to stay indoors and clear up mess and wet bits after recent gales took off some roof tiles so wet insulation to dry out. Old farmhouse roof so no waterproof layer under the tiles. Lovely.
Pat - Possum gets very impatient with me when I can't follow "simple" instructions for fancy features on my mobile phone or even know I can do fancier things. I use it as a phone and for texting which seems enough for a phone to me. Bit like her not being able to drive a washing machine beyond a normal 40C wash.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
"The price good men (and women) pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men (and women)."
With you on the phone thing obelixx. I'm reminded of the Welsh () comedian Mark Watson when doing a bit of stand up ' Why would I watch telly on my phone - I have a TV for that...'
Hope you get some dry stuff soon. It's very frustrating when there's jobs to do outside as well as inside.
Not a footie fan either, but the Welsh team and fans have done their country proud. 'Come on boyos' ....is that slightly racist?
Persisting down now so no guilt for the tennis watching later either. Come on Andy!
Wish I didn't have to go back to work
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Kitty - YouTube? Should I know what that is? Just joking. Hubby has also suggested going on line to find teaching bits. Trouble is that I'm tired (too much watching Le Tour til 2am each night).
Obelixx, perhaps you can empathise with the main gift I received from Hubby (unwanted, I should add) - a bl..dy iPhone. My previous mobile was simple and suited me very well, but I can't use it any more because it's been disconnected. I am being forced into the new age by Hubby and Son. They can't understand my problem. Hubby even tried to do a bit of painting on his iPad tonight (and there were a few murmurs and grumbles from the peanut gallery but I very generously didn't make any smart comments ).
GWRS, sorry I didn't respond - another example of my increasing inability to concentrate. I also hope you don't get our foul weather for several months. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Thanks Kitty. Yes it's not good for my confidence.
