Chicky image   it's going to remind us of Cornwall ... OH is going to be allowed an aeonium nigra image and we'll try to create a feeling of that seaside intensity of light and warmth  image  ... with a twist ... but that's all you're getting for now ... some of it may take some time to achieve ... image

Now I have a bus to catch ........ SYL folks

Dove, I could have given you an aeonium  zwartkop when you were here if you'd said.

Morning All, flying visit. B&B fullworking at Chateau and trying to pack stuff for my move discreetly too. Charlie luckily is spending all his days at the neighbours farm with their grandsons so at least he is happy and occupied. Breaking my heart over leaving this garden. image Sorry, overtired and emotional. image image image

Good day to you all. image

Sunny and hot here too.  Started early with a trip to the vet.  Pusscat has a tumour on one of her nipples so is having a feline mastectomy.   Her 2nd.  She's going to be groggy and cross when I pick her up later on.

Busy with lots of admin today while OH picks blackcurrants and gooseberries which I shall have to make into jellies and jams and cordials - tomorrow.

Last ever dance committee meeting this evening as I hand over the presidency.   Need to make a cake and some nibbles and get all my handover ducks in a row.

DD - leaving your home and garden will be hard but the new one will give new opportunities so lots to look forward to and provide solace for you and Charlie.   Did you see all the names suggested for your tea-rooms on the Worries thread?

Love the idea of an emergency ice-cream van for Clari.   There were lots of vintage vans for ice-creams and coffee and BBQ and burgers at Chelsea.

Love the idea of fresh sheets every day too but OH does the ironing (while watching sport on TV) and would object.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Ironed sheets? now that would be a luxury.

I probably don't change the sheets quite as often as I should as I like them ironed image

DD, don't forget to send me your phone number. Will you have internet?

Morning all (just) image  Slept until 9am!  then phone call from friend who was coming into town and would call in for coffee.  Quick shower and dressed.

I hope you can manage to take any garden treasures with you DD.  It's good that Charlie is happy and occupied just now image

    Are you feeling better Clari?

    WW, hope you are wellimage
