Think i'd be asking the partner to do that job Clari. Give me the plaster removal any time....image image

Morning all/afties Pat. Chilly weather for you now. Keep well wrapped up.

Beautiful day here, no car as it's going in for a service, but I have 2 tons of gravel coming so I won't exactly be short of jobs to do... image

Longish day yesterday and was too tired to do photos etc, by the time I had a shower and had something to eat. Great  walk, wildlife and weather though...I chose the day and the hill(s) wisely...image

Met another 'nice young man' (image)  and we walked a good bit on the way back and put the world to rights and had a laugh. Bit of Regina Spektor on in the car until there was reception, then lovely Simon Mayo on the radio. All was well in my world  image

Good to see you doc - keep working at it. We missed you. image

Too much to read at the moment so I'll hopefully catch up with it all once I get back from garage.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Punk; if they're not yours don't worry!

I make all my dogs meals as, like me, he has a very sensitive stomach. I feel so sorry for my partner sometimes as you can stick anything on his plate and he'll eat it while the dog and I get carefully prepared lots of thought and attention going into them meals!

The rain has arrived and I'm hearing of lots of crashes (& a gunman on the loose) on my route to work. I think I'll wait here a while!

Morning, it's lovely here this morning, frost?! Surely not

Clari no wonder your OH is away tonight!!!

Fairy sounds like you had a great day, even met a "nice young man" image

Punk you are sounding good, do you know how we visualised you in your garden with a g and t?

Gas, no gas here! We have LPG but I hated the tank so much we buried it!! All perfectly safe

we are having a rare day off and going to see the Secret Herb Garden in Lothianburn  Have always wanted to go and as we planning to make a new bed for herbs I may just have to get some stock!!!

have a lovely day everyone, another weekend approaches??

  • Morning all!

I'm currently enjoying the silence of the house. The neighbours aren't up yet, there are no cars passing by, all I can hear is the birds chirping away outside and the occasional snore from one of our cats. It's bliss!

I pretty much have the day to mysel, not sure what I'm doing yet, it looks like the grey clouds are passing over so fingers crossed it'll stay dry and I can get outside.

    Morning! image

Bit cooler today - no complaints hereimage

Sorry Dove - can't help with the boiler - we are on oil. We will probably get mains gas at the same time as super-fast broadband and /or cable TV image I will probably be in a long box with satin lining by then!

Clari - my OH winced when I told him of your doggie delights.

Fairy - you and your young men - again imageimageimageimageimage Thanks for the info about The Adventure Show again. We've downloaded the 2 progs to watch in the Camper this weekend.

Pdoc - SM run done already - blimey that only happens here at Xmas.

Who's talking about frost? - it's July don't you know image

    Have a good one!

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
