Thanks Hazel. Hi to everyone who wakes and reads.

I'm off to town again this morning. My old Mazda needs to have the back window replaced because the rear de-mister is no longer working and is very irritating at this time of year when having to drive 25 km to get to town, you can't tell when someone is sneaking up behind you.

We had a heavy frost this morning and when I opened the GH, the thermometer showed minus 4c. image Hubby said his weather station reported minus 6c. Bah!  No rain or wind though.

Hope you're feeling more yourself Pdoc.

Good morning all image G'day Pat image

A quiet day ahead, a bit of deadheading and also got to get someone to come and service the boiler. It's playing up and the chap we usually have isnt available cos he's gone to work away. We used to have British Gas on annual contract. Will probably go back to them unless anyone had any better recommendations?

    Great to see you Pdocimageimage

Very busy few days and nights at work .....but now all is calm .....and breathe....

I have neglected my tomato plants this week - and when I went in the GH this morning the sideshoots were making a bid for world dominationimage.  But a few hopeful green marble size things starting to form too.

Enjoy your Fridays, one and all imageimageimage

    Morning all!

I'm afraid I use a local lad Dove so can't really recommend anyone. Good luck getting it all sorted.

Partner is off with the dog to see his parents tonight: I have the delights of knocking more plaster off the walls. It will at least see the lounge completely stripped so we can start on the rewiring. Slow process but I'm hoping the fact that we're looking at light fittings hope of something other than a train at the end of the tunnel!

I also have the delights of slicing bull testicles so that I can dehydrate them as dog treats; it'll be a very rock and roll evening! ?

    Have a great day everyone!

Clari - that sounds like a nightmare and not just the plaster bashingimage.

Dove we are also very happy British Gas customers.  They've never let us down so farimage.
