Morning all,  Lovely day here.  Not a good night up early with back, never mind I'm going to try and work it off today in the garden.  Hopefully drugs and a hot shower will mean I can get going and plant a few plants that have been sitting in pots for a while.  I have a couple of difficult spots and so I'm going to have a think about what to do about them while I sit in the sunshine.

    Enjoy your walk GWRS.

Hope you feel better soon Pat.

    Morning all.

I've just "had words" with our next door neighbour.

Her dog is strolling round our garden cocking his leg at random and won't come to her, so I took the opportunity to very gently tell her that her other dog barks/ yaps all day long whilst they're out at work. Bang on cue it started. "yeah, that's the one, it barks at everything which passes, people, cyclists, cars, tractors, folk on horses, everything"

"feel free to go into our garden and zap the water pistol at it"

" sorry, it's not my place to control other people's dogs"

Not a great start to the day , but after months of the noise, it had to be said.

    Morning all.

But Hosta, it might have been fun zapping a water pistol at it! Good of her to give you permission. She can't do it if she's out and dog might have improved image

meant to say, I too enjoyed GW last night. V interesting bit of kit for propagation and Cameron McIntosh's garden was divine.

If folk are out all day long, they shouldn't just leave their dogs barking in the garden. It's just selfish.

Hosta, it's better to get it off your chest than let it fester away. I may have been tempted to accidentally misdirect my aim form the water pistol. . . . image

there's a lane between our houses , so I can't just lean over the fence, as it were, I'd have to go into their garden, which I'm not going to do.

I was very polite, calm and rational about it. I certainly don't want to cause any bad feeling, but when they're out all day ( they're teachers ) they really should be aware of the nuisance their neighbours are being subjected to.
