Maybe he's just dipping his toe in.

Now if you wouldn't mind all stopping talking, I have trees to cut down. My woodland glade seems to be making itself as I clear away all the crud and dead stuff at the front. image

    Thanks pp.

Isn't it too hot to be cutting down trees?

BL, those of us in the north - Ireland and Scotland could do with some of your heat.

14° BL. I'm nearly roasted!!! image It was perfect till it started to pour. Big branches, wee branches, big logs, wee logs, big sticks, wee sticks... image

For anyone seeking trivia for today...my shredder will take twice the diameter of willow to pine! Huh! Who knew? image

Yes Lantana. Why so shocked? It's the keeky bit under the trees where nothing will grow except ivy, brambles and ash seedlings. Isn't that a woodland glade??? image

Muddle-Up, Not as bad as that over in the South West.  Shrub growth has been out of control as have the weeds.

14 degrees  Ppauper - that's barbecue weather here eh?  Especially if there's bit of drizzle.....image

Muddle up -  we reckoned it was time you lot in the north east had the west of Scotland 'spring' rain for a change, while  we nicked the dry stuff....image

We had summer last month. That's it now. Normal service has been resumed  image

Joking aside, I really can't remember a spring that's been so dry here in the west. Bogs you can walk on top of on hills. Watering plants that are in the ground. Unheard of. image

Tried to get more done outside but the rain was chucking it down. Why does it go off as soon as I come in? Got lots done inside though. Walls prepped in hall/kitchen/lounge where new doors were put in. More holes filled in. Dinner made and eaten.

What will I do now? image

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I was going to say "go to bed", then I saw you wrote that at 18.37!

Well, I'm off to bed, clean sheets, had a shower. Nighties.
