Runny - image. Many years ago I finally tracked down an elusive 'funny' smell in the kitchen. One of those that starts as an elusive little whiff that quickly goes. Gets gradually stronger over the following 2 weeks.... Eventually tracked down a lump of ox heart I'd stuck in the oven to defrost for the cat's dinner about 6 weeks before imageimageimage

Didn't use the oven much in those days image

Not sure if I ever used that particular one again after that image

    Nice pic Dewdrops image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Cats sitting on old Che's face, discarded sandwiches, ponds, politics and another new bed (image)

What a chatty bunch you've been while I've been out earning a shekel !...image

Ox heart - sounds 'awful' ...do you see what I did there? Who needs Mickey Flanagan? Insert other comedian of your choice  image

Feel at a loose end - no tennis....image

Joyce - I thought I was imagining it, but the other day I reckoned one of my Oak Leaf Hydrangeas was looking a bit brown round the edges...image

It's in a pot just now - waiting for me to yank out the Rhodie at the front door which will be it's new home. It's not that surprising really - we had summer in June after a weirdly dry spring, and it's struggled to be in double figures for most of the last week....and autumn starts in August here ...image

Which is a nice segue - lovely Justin Hayward is on Simon Mayo's radio prog just now image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Fairy - we were listening to Justin Haywood too ... Nights in White Satin ... I was fifteen when it came out ... I remember sitting on the garden wall of my friend Janie's parents' pretty thatched cottage, Janie and I listening to it on my little red transistor ... I was so innocent ,,, I was singing Knights in White Satin, and imagining a scene rather like 'The Knights who say Ni" image

I'm finding it hard to believe that song will be fifty years old next year...image

Of course, I'm far too young to remember it coming out...image

I think I probably thought they were those kind of 'nights' too! Lovely Simon played Forever Autumn... that bit near the end where his voice just ...breaks......ahhhhhh  image  image

I remember Johnnie Walker playing Nights in White Satin and Sitting on the Dock of the Bay at 10 o'clock every night on Radio Caroline.

    In London. Keen but lazy.
