Dock of The Bay - possibly my favourite song of all time.
OH has been tasked with arranging a little trip to the states for me to sit eating fried clams and drinking ice cold beer at the end of a jetty with that song playing... One day he'll get around to it - not too much to ask for is it?
Picturing Runny in purple satin flares.. They would have been a match for my burgundy velvet loons. We would have looked dead cool together at the disco Runny - did you wear a cheesecloth smock top with them?
Edit: Hope all goes well at the dentist tomorrow Hosta

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning folks No, my bodyclock hasn't woken me up - the phone did it was the automated alarm system at the farm shop where OH works - he's a key holder - I couldn't let him cycle up there on his own to see what had triggered the alarm so I pulled some clothes on and we drove up there ... no sign of any intruders or anything ................. but of course we're both WIDE AWAKE now ...
there was a beautiful sunrise tho'

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Have given up now Pansy ... drinking coffee and finding jobs to do ... I've got the dentist this afternoon so that's a few hours 'wasted' so I might as well get ahead now ..........

Gorgeous RB...
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Dentists' receptionist called this afternoon: cancellation for 9am tomorrow. Sorted. Bless'er.
More chainsawing and tree clearance and some grass cut before polytunnel watering duties called.
Just indoors. Must shower then eat something.
nighty night all.
night hosta! hope you sleep tonight.

Haven't been able to join in today as OH put my Tomtom on my laptop to update and it took hours and hours.
We tried out that new restaurant for lunch, quite simple, but nice, 13€ for 3 courses, about £10.
Haven't done anything I meant to today, felt tired, although the weather has been agreeably cooler. Slept through "Escape to the Country".
I once had a cheesecloth smocked top and velvet flares.
RB, that blue sandwich made me laugh.
