Don't get me wrong folks -I've only had the ironing board  out twice since Christmas, and once was to iron our funeral outfits - the problem is that unlike warm winter clothes that you can get away with just folding, light cotton summer clothes need flattening if you're going to wear them in public image

This morning has gone well so far - a line full of washing, feeders full of goldfinches and tits and two batches of pastry chilling in the fridge - I'm going to make a sausage and egg pie and a quiche lorraine and possibly a smoked salmon and asparagus tart too, just as soon as I've finished this imageimage

    Morning all, hi Patimage

Feeling very slap happy here tooimage.  Bit of a shame though as I've got a paint brush in my handimage.

Well done Walesimage.  I'm one-sixteenth Welshimage.

The ghost soldier 'installation' was very moving.  It really brings it home to you just how awful it wasimage  GWRS I liked your photo of the ceremony.

Can't get any polyfilla in our one horse town so I'll have to have a trip to B&Q.  No plants there as they are closing downimage.  Probably haven't got any filler left either.

Lesley - they had one of the volunteers on the news prog earlier,  a nice young lad, and what was really good was, he'd done a bit of research into the soldier he was representing. It means that the 'contact' is still there....lest we forget....

For all our sakes, I hope we never do.

Our local Asda sells loads of diy stuff - the new fillers which are very lightweight are good. I got some there last year image

Can I book a piece of salmon/asparagus for later please Dove? image
