Re our being "in" until we are "out".  We have to continue to pay our contribution to the EU project until things are finalised.

Anyone with a few chests of tea to tip into the sea in protest?

I see things rather differently to most on here.

FTSE 100 is more a measure of the global economy, and although it has recovered since the referendum, it is still down 20% this year, due to BREXIT fears.

The FTSE 250, a much more accurate measure of the British economy, down 30% this year.

Increase in hate crimes, not a BBC scare story, but actual cases reported to the police.

Scotland want to leave the Union, maybe NI. to.

Everything is not returning to normal.

The EU has deep flaws, but it will be very hard to change things from the outside, and the rest of Europe will want to punish us.

Boris the next PM? No effective opposition, the list goes on.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Shrinking Violet, my youngest Daughter voted "out".  It was said on Radio 4, yesterday, forget who was talking, turned on radio after getting in car think it was Womans Hour, the bloke talking said they asked people and 22% didnt really understand what the voting was about, and didnt listen to the "experts". Someone I know I cannot say who etc. says Dave wanted out of his job, so the whole vote thing was a set up to allow him to climb down.   Who are these 22% was anyone on here asked.

The Torys need a new leader ?

Labour no longer an effective opposition !

Will there be a general election later in the year ?

I believe Elections in France & Germany next year could be interesting

Spain at the moment would I believe block Scotland because it has big separatist movements themselves to deal with and I believe the Spanish President is the current EU president wouldn't have anything to do with Scotland First Minister - Polotics !

Sorry every one, this thread will roll for a long time yet, never in all my years have I seen a time when all the parties were in total disarray with Nicola kicking anyone who gets in the way. We are at the moment a rudderless boat and worse the engine has stopped working. It is as I remember Dunkirk, rescue who and what you can then start the build up to take those pesky Europeans apart.

I have seen parties tear themselves apart, Labour after Wilson the Tories after Margaret and then labour and Liberals at the last election but this is beyond any of those things. Much like Pinocchio their noses got longer each day as they thought up bigger and better lies. We the sheep who understand nothing suddenly bit them, as my Uncle Arthur the farmer would say there is no such thing as a dumb animal and now the Politicians are wondering what hit them, the posh boys thought they knew best and the Unions tried to hi jack Labour, we have been there many times it does not work anymore.

This is going to be a fun summer as far as I am concerned (if we ever get a summer) watching the squirming and infighting among them all meanwhile as we always were we will be ruled by the Money men in the absence of Government.

    Frank.
