Morning all, haven't looked in for a couple of days. Been a busy time with check ups at the doc and hospital. Good news is I'm all done with the warfrin, bad news is they are not keen on doing anything about my knees so looks like the West highland way is going to have to wait. Coffee and a read back.

    Morning

Glorious day out there - have to continue with the big hack back in the jungle that is masquerading as my garden. Might manage a bit of Wimbers tooimage

I have avoided posting on the EU thread. Why do some people feel the need to post nasty little messages on a forum like this one? Are they just full of hate?

Welcome back P'Doc - sounds like you had a good holiday - will look forward to some photos.

Best wishes to all those with chestikoffs / sore throats / sicky bugs - keep them to yourselves imageimage

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Morning all. Feeling my age after a day in the big green gym. It's grey and overcast and a bit Wintry here so I'll need to keep moving to warm up. Not much rain so far but it's on it's way.

Welcome back punkdoc, your pictures look amazing.

BL good news about your extended holiday.

Hope all the sickies feel better, hope all the betters feel the same.....

Lillies...do keep up. ;-)  That's why I never really posted on this thread....I always missed bits! My smilies have been stolen today. :-o

FG some people are just mean and it doesn't matter what thread they're on! If you wait long enough the vitriol will out!

Anyone for a toothberry? I've just harvested 200g of strawberries to discover someone had the last of the cream! HORRORS.

    Good morning, hi Patimage

PP I wish I was feeling your ageimageimage.

Pdoc I'm glad you had a wonderful holiday.  The pics are amazing and I'm going to have another good look laterimage.  I've not been anywhere yet and my garden's a jungle too.  Not heard any roars thoughimage

Pat I'm sorry to hear HRH isn't too good.  I'm sure she'll be happy snoozing beside you.

Lizzie I hope you enjoy your extra enforced holidayimage.  You'll know all the pubs in the area soonimage.

OH is off to the dentist soon and I'll have to get an early lunch ready.  Catch up later.

That one really does look like a tooth Clari!  image No cream? What's that about? image

I have the grand total of ONE which has ripened so far. Elsanta - very reliable and good croppers.

Ppauper - the person I reported has made a lot of dubious posts,  but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. The comments to  'our doc' was the straw and the camels' back though....

    Joyce image

Pat - I know the programme you mean. They did a similar one about Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. The photography's excellent isn't it? image

B'man - hope you're ok. The West Highland Way will still be there.  Och...you're not missing much anyway ... image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hello Lesley. Yes HRH knows the best place to settle. (After a big lean-into-me hard sort of cuddle), then onto a cushion with a back leg sliding under my rump and causing me to worry every time I move that I'll break her skinny little leg. image

Fairyg, I really loved that program except for the burning of the heather which I've read unhappy comments about on Forkers a few months ago and the possibility of young birds being caught in it and then later frightening all the adult birds into flight so that people can shoot them! image Maybe I'm missing something here or I'm too soft about the animals. Who am I to judge other people's habits. Should keep my thoughts to myself.
