Thanks Liri -  fog early on, sub zero till about midday, then looking fair afterwards, so should time it well enough for the summits.  image

You can come and fill all the nail holes in my door surrounds if you have time. image

I think that'll be an autumn/winter job - too much digging, building and border preparing to get on with outside. image

I have some fruits on my tomatoes, so I'm quite pleased.

Has doc gone on holiday? Did I miss that?  Haven't 'seen' him for a little while. image

Sorry to hear you're a bit 'off' Wonks. We're all here if you need to offload.

There's some lovely garden pix to look at which might help to raise your spirits - Yvie started a thread with her lovely garden visits, and BL added to it as well. image

I'll bring you some fresh air and views  from the mountains when  I get home x  image

I'll just say an early good morning all - well morning for, but most of you wont read this until morning.imageimage

I'm slowly waking up and snuggling under the bedclothes. Wonky, thinking about you.

Dove, hope you feel better soon. Have already forgotten the others, but best wishes for your weather and gardening.

    Had another good day today.

This morning did a lot of spraying and Round Up gelling on bindweed and brambles on the bank over the wall, along the front of the cottage and back of the front border. It was winter when we bought the cottage so hadn't seen the bindweed.

This afternoon we went to Peter Beales Classic Roses. Lovely rose garden, loads of plants and roses for sale and they were preparing for a Rose Festival this weekend so I think we'll go again. The roses will be more in flower in a week or two, but there were plenty out. I was wondering if Dove would go, but now she's not well.

I hope you get better soon Dove, I was hoping to contact you in a few days.

A couple of good friends are coming to stay for a few days tomorrow. I hope they want to go to Peter Beales. We'll probably visit another garden while they are here.

Thank you Dove, Fairy and Pat image

Some of that fresh air and views sounds lovely Fairy! I've had a couple of medicinal brandy coffees, watched gardeners world and am going to doze with my book image think I'll save the garden visit thread for morning coffee time, that will be a lovely way to start the day. Night folks image

Meant to say, now I understand about the ads on this new site. I didn't get them in France, just a blank waste of space on the right. Here in England they keep flashing up all the time.
