Morning all :). Had a better night just waking for soluble paracetamol and throat spray which really helped.

Wet and drizzly here this morning so at least I'm not missing a gardening day. BL let me know when youre going to Classic Roses - if I'm germ free and don't have a parental probate meeting with brother I'd love to join you.

Morning Fairy and Joyce. We've had 4.5mm rain overnight and this morning, and is still cloudy. At least it's not minus 7 while the cloud cover is there. image

Hubby has been at a fire brigade course all day and again tomorrow. Son and I (and poodle and cat) have had a lovely quiet day doing our own thing.

    have a good day all.

HELP I have had an email saying I've had a message from some one on the forum. When I clicked on the link, I went to the blank old GW Home page. Could somebody tell me how to get to the message please. I'm a bit of a technophobe so very simple terms please!

MARYGOLD when you get taken to the 'blank page' go to the top right hand corner and click on the flower icon next to your name. You should then get a drop down menu with My Messages on it :-)

Morning all. Morning Dove. As it's Classic Roses Rose Festival this weekend I was wondering about tomorrow. But our friends arrive this afternoon and I want to ask them first. But you may not be well enough. We would be happy to go again next week, should be more roses out. And parking would probably be easier. But if you are up to it tomorrow and our friends want to go that's fine too.

Shame it's raining this morning, OH was wondering about going to the Festival at 11am as well today, as Rachel de Thame should be there. He thinks she's pretty. But if she was Darcey Bussell there'd be no stopping him!

Going to get my hair cut. See you later.

Morning all.  After moving 4 tons of topsoil , spreading and raking, then adding a few cubic metres of composted wooodchip, you'd think I'd have slept like a log???? Not a bit of it.

Couldn't even manage the end of the 10 o'clock news as I was so tired. Went to bed BOOM wide awake. Still awake at 1am.image

Moving more woodchip to-day. Hubby has promised to help me to-day then work tomorrow. boo hiss.

Have a good weekend one and all.

BL - don't think I'd be up to it by tomorrow image but thanks anyway image  Let's wait and see what the weather's like in the coming week ...

Hosta, maybe that's it ... you're getting over-tired and your body somehow goes into overdrive ... like a tired and fractious toddler ... not that I'm likening you to one of those ............. I'll get my coat ......... image

    Morning all.

Gardener down. image I knew yesterday when my feet got cold that I was dicing with death. Cold feet are my 4 hour warning. Thankfully I got the grass cut so there's nothing pressing but I could do without the cold in one nostril and a raging sore "one side of throat".

Mooch up the sofa. Who built this sofa anyway? He's a helluva craftsman/engineer. There's about three tons on it now!!!!!

    Happy Saturday well people.
