Evening all. Been outside shifting slabs and digging out turf...it's neverending....
But - I have a lovely carpet
But no bed yet RB All in good time. I've been without one for four and a half years, so I can wait a little longer
You'll miss your son - but he'll bring washing round when he visits....
The young fairylets came home from their holiday last night. How can they produce more washing than they do when they're at home?
Dove - hope the antibos help. My colleague at work has had a terrible time with her little boy. He's had a strep throat which they got cleared up, only for it to return a week later. It's washed him out totally. Sofa time is good though. I've not seen any of the tennis. The boy won today again though.
Valerie - the thread was removed, as ppauper says. It's become a bit more serious for the poster, although she's returned under a new name, so hopefully you'll see her posting again.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you Dove, I found I had a tick on ignore me, took me half an hour to find personal preferences page. All these new fangled things, life used to be so uncomplicated and perhaps lonely sometimes.
fairygirl, wasn't it sad for the young woman, do hope she reads that we are thinking of her , and wishing well.
Sorry RB My girls aren't too bad. Oldest is making a pavlova and a lemon meringue pie for some party at her Dad's tomorrow. There had better be some left for me - otherwise I'll be charging her father for the use of my facilities!
I'm doing a long walk tomorrow, may kip overnight to save coming back, so I'll need some tasty dessert to boost my sugar levels. Purely medicinal of course....
BM - sofa
Valerie - she PMd me as I'd posted something on her thread. She seems to be fine and coping well enough. I'm sure she'll let us know of any developments if she can.

Finished filling the holes, Beaus Mum, but not painted yet. The staircases "settled" when we diverted a drainpipe to stop our house wall getting so wet, leaving a little gap between the wood and the wall. Looks so much better now it's filled, but need to leave the filler to set hard before painting.
The rose is very pretty. Don't suppose it will survive the winter, but it's brightened up a boring bit.
Looking forward to seeing photos of your garden, BM!
Hope the weather holds for your walk, Fairy.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
