Primula colours are gorgeous and I like the cooling effect of the hosta with them.  Lovely gardens. Topbird.

That looks beautiful TB. It's nice to know what my primula/hosta planting should look like. I'll maybe print that off and stick it on the window. image

You are not allowed to take cameras, phones or any other type of recording apparatus into Highgrove, and you don't get near enough to any windows to look in. I have the book, I bought it cheap from the book people before I went. I intend on having another trip.

I thought that fidget but wasn't sure.  I have the book but thank you for the link.  I'm sure mine wasn't that cheap image

Did you see the programme when Alan titmarsh went to high grove and met prince Charles? It was really good and prince Charles said he liked to listen to visitors comments whilst hiding indoors.  I'm sure he said he laid under the Windows image

    Hi everyone,

Stunning pics Topbird, thank you for sharing.

Hi Beaus, good to see you image

Fidget, hope you're feeling better. Sounds a lovely place to visit.

Lovely sunny day here after all. Thankfully the forecast was wrong image Went to Brighton this afternoon and sat outside at the Marina for lunch.  Lovely afternoon watching the world go by.

Still a lovely sunny evening, patio doors wide open, listening to the birds chirping. Hopefully summer has started!

Have a lovely evening SYL x

    Hi Folks,

Got back from Sussex a few hours ago.  Had a wonderful time visiting Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Scotney Castle, all of which were extremely beautiful.  I have started a thread and posted some of the pictures for those who are interested.  Also visited Pashley, it was OK but overpriced I thought compared to the others we visited.  Merriments on the otherhad was lovely and very good value for money.

The weather was mixed but luckily the rain seemed to come down when we were either in the B&B or in the car.  Had some light rain at Sissinghurst otherwise the garden visits were dry.  Poured down on the way home though.

Absolutely shattered after lots of walking so will be heading up the wooden hills soon.

Hi Beaus Mum!  Long time no see!  Hope you're well and happy.

Annoying on-off rain today.  Ended up doing h****w**k...  image

Good morning all :). Lovely to hear about your garden visits.

I didn't sleep too well. Very sore tonsil and yucky throat. Have taken paracetamol.

On a brighter note it's sunny outside and it looks as if we're in for a gardening day :)
