Liri you've had a good day all round, I've just been admiring the lovely pics of your walk and you've come home a winner.
Joyce and Bushman I heeded the warning about thunder approaching and got the washing in and all the gardening paraphernalia and we haven't even had six spots. Looks as though I'll be out watering again.
DD I'm glad you're feeling happier about the garden for your open day and of course 'they will come'. I hope Charlie gets lucky.
Lizzie, glad the memorial service went well. You will always have fond memories of your friends.
Rb I've never had lily beetles here so far but I keep a lookout for them.
Evenin' all. Been thundery looking all afternoon here and at work Joyce - but nothing's happened - yet...
Sorry Bushman. You can send some of the rain over to me. Glen Etive is indeed beautiful, but marred by the amount of people visiting it who don't understand the meaning of the term 'passing place'. Worse than ever
KEF - glad your building work is coming on. I did think of your hubby when I was up the ladder yesterday, manoeuvring on the back fence, sorting bits and pieces with a screwdriver....
How lovely Liri - what a great surprise
I'm sure all will be well DD - but I know I'd be the same if I did an open garden - constantly panicking. But then that's why I'd never be tempted to do it ....
I've forgotten everything else that's been said
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
My page has been very pale grey and glary white ever since the changes. Doing BOLD for PF really helps with clarity.
Glad you have a working phone Busy and good news about the rest of the wiring. Let's hope he's right.
Well done Liri. Great prize to win.
Lily beetles - try and catch them and they do their kamikazi dive and hide upside down on the compost or soil where you can't see them. Someone advised me that they come out at teatime so the thing to do was to wander out with a hot cuppa and hold it under them so they land in the tea instead and drown.

HELLO ALL. HUBBY HAS BEEN ALLOWED HOME TODAY AFTER HIS BLOOD PRESSURE STABILISED AND HE COULD STAND FOR 5 MINUTES WITHOUT HEADBUTTING THE FLOOR! THE DOCTORS AT THE HOSPITAL HAVE TAKEN SOME MEDS OFF HIM, AND HE HAS AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE A CONSULTANT NEXT WEEK, SO FEELING MUCH HAPPIER. IT DID MAKE ME SMILE WATCHING HIM MARCHING ACROSS THE CAR PARK IN HIS PYJAMAS AND SLIPPERS AT THE HOSPITAL...HE WOULDN'T WAIT FOR ME TO BRING HIM SOME CLOTHES, HE COULDN'T WAIT TO GET OUT!!! ANYWAY ALL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LISTENING LAST NIGHT, JUST FELT A BIT LOST AND NEEDED SOME COMPANY.
