Star gaze lily: Thank you so much for your kind offer, I live on stoopid street in naive town and can't find any "decent" supplier's of solid wood furniture anywhere.
They really should advertise more noticeably for idiots like me.
Hi everyone. We've had a busy day. HRH developed a cough over the weekend and since she's up to date with her kennel cough immunisation, I took her to the Vet. Her heart condition has worsened he said. Only to be expected I suppose at 14 plus years for a toy poodle. She's to see him in a week after some more antibiotics for yet more gum disease. I can't get her to eat dry food with her limited number of teeth, but she enjoys chicken necks to gnaw on which I hoped would help clean her teeth.
I actually finished the two dresses I was knitting for the 2 year old and got them in the post. Hooray! I sent photos to her mother and she is very excited about them. Photos are on the garden crafters thread.
weather still very wintery but not wet - just cold and dampish.
hope people who were feeling a bit offnare getting better.
Punkdoc, my H was there to watch Coldplay (he was actually working at Glasto but this set coincided with his time off shift) and he said it was amazing. He's not generally a Coldplay fan, either.
He's just got back and is currently asleep, after a soak in the bath to remove all the yuk!
Sorry Kitty, just meant county etc. Just Clicked on your Avatar and seen your miles away from me here in Sussex. So rather far afield for you! But google solid wood furniture, I'm sure there must be something nearer. That's how I found the two we've visited. They're not high street stores.......they don't seem to do solid wood furniture anymore. Even JL didn't have much.
Clari you at least got it dry! saw about the last five minutes of Glastonberry, looked super
Pdoc sounds as if it was worth all the immunisation! What a trip Looking forward to photos,
Kitty we have a few companies up here but may be too far from you?
so, we have had the garden photo shoot, the weather was kind, the roses came out, the poppies were holding, the baby and toddler behaved perfectly, the dogs obedient, the adults were disgraceful!cant wait to see them!
food all eaten, beer all drunk, bubbles popped, and expectant daughter looking great. just down to 3 now and enjoying every moment if a tad exhausted!
just back from Dumfries house, it just gets better and better

Your post made me laugh Kitty! I could rustle you up something too - I can only do raised beds made of fencing timber though....

Fidget's 'wardrobes' made me titter too
Glad you had a good time doc. We'll be looking forward to the smashing pix
It's not over yet either - they're all greetin' and roarin' today about all the resignations. Welcome home to 'Happy Valley' Britain doc!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Just watched the Coldplay set from Glastonbury. not great fan, a bit MOR for me, but, what a fabulous piece of entertainment.

But watching Adele at the mo.
Errm Pdoc what does MOR mean
Oops
crossed wires i think.
So sorry star gaze lily, I was only mucking about after seeing 4 cheeky ad's on the front page this morning. It was very kind of you to try to help.
I'm not really sensible enough for "hello forkers", knew it wouldn't be long before I dropped myself in it with my big gob.
I'd best stick to the "GOS" lot with my tongue firmly stuck in my cheek
Afternoon all, at last a few moments to myself
glad poorly folks feeling better,
