I got six Thunbergia alata to grow from seed, I have planted them to use the Lily stems as sticks. Plan is the lilies will flower, then the climbing black eyed Susan will take over and flower until the frosts. I need a space for some Asarina to climb as well. A lot of plants, I grow as plugs in plug trays from seed. It saves pricking out and easy to drop into holes.
Think this may be our only dry day this week so need to make the most of it. Washing on and lots to be done in garden before Wimbledon gets into it's stride.
Morning all. Been working at an event all weekend; am now over tired, sunburnt (despite many applications of cream) and soooo regretting booking a school visiting to the museum today!
Still I did get to do this with our fire engine.
Going to do my best to read back but hugs and hi fives to all that deserve them.
That's good to know fidget. I rarely do the pricking out thing as I don't grow very much from seed, but I sowed the very thinly. I was planning on just putting each little pot in somewhere and seeing how they got on. It's what would happen in nature anyway...she said, hopefully...
'Second cuppas in bed' sounds about right Dove. Have a good natter with nut
I have so much to do outside and now Wimbledon's here it will hold me back Joyce. It's a hard life...
On a tangent - has anyone downloaded any Glastonbury? I got Tom Odell no problem, but I can't find Art Garfunkel anywhere. Or is the BBC ignoring him..
Off to work soon so will catch up later. Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'm working from home, hoping to get work finished in time to get a bit of gardening done. We had plenty of rain yesterday afternoon and evening, hoping it'll be dry today!
