I've spoken to my son and he is ok. He said he was ok until I expressed sorrow for him and then he got upset. He'll be ok. He still has the mother cat, Pixel, so he will have someone to talk to.

i checked the rain gauge half an hour ago and we got 93.5mm in the last 24 hours. That's amazing for us, as we only usually get a few mm at a time. it's still raining. I took a photo of the river which has found its way to both sides instead of a stream through the centre. The dam in front of the house which was almost empty a couple of days ago is overflowing, Yee hah! Nothing like a good clean out of the river and dams.lots of water running across neighbours paddocks, too.  The contour bank in front of the house has water in it for the first time in ages.

Gosh chatty bug has bitten again.

    Hugs for poorly peeps.

Awake at 6 this morning. Work at 12-8 boo hiss. I think I might give the tunnels a soak this morning and leave them to it. Can't face coming in from work, getting changed and doing it so late.

Dove is certainly having some good weather for her West Country break. She certainly deserved it after all she's / they've been through lately.

Have a good week one and all.

    Devon.

Morning - another lovely day image - but office time for me today so best keep moving.

Hugs for Linda - that must have been a very scary experience. I hope OH is making a good recovery.

Hope Mr KEF is doing ok too.

Pat - so sorry to hear about Immie - such a pretty girl. Pets make such a home in our hearts that they leave a huge hole when they've gone.

Glad to hear Dove's enjoying some nice weather. She has been tasked with eating plenty of Newlyn crabs and Cornish clotted cream for me!

Need to get out & open the shed now. Have a good day all.

    Hi

Wall to wall sunshine here, shorts on, and coffee in the garden. Think it may be a day for watching rather than doing.

    Have a good one.

Morning all/afties Pat. We could do with some of that rain....image

It's bizarre weather BL - but it's a freak for us here, and not something we're likely to see again for a long time, so we're making the most of it! There's been very little slug damage too, which has been great.  It's only in the last few weeks that it's been warm though.  That area of low pressure and storms just seems to be sitting in central Europe. Hope it dries up for you soon. It's very wearing. image

Hope today is better for you Linda image

    Don't work too hard Hosta...image

Off for a quick look round. Have a good day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning Peepsimage

Thinking of you Linda .....my OH has recently been through some heart problems, so I know how scary it is.  But they do genius things these days, and as others have said, he is in the right place.  So try and stay positive.  And having a download on here everynow and then  was a really important release for me too - we all need a safety valveimage

Spending most of today working at home, so I can keep a bit of an eye on Dad - although have to pop into the office at lunchtime for a couple of meetings .....littlest Chicklet will take over thenimage

sweet peas survived their first night in the groundimage. I seem to have over-sown .....anybody want sweetpea plants, 6 inches tall, in mouldy loo roll innards image (joking....don't think they would survive Royal Mailimage)

    Good morning All,

Back after a weekend of silent protest, do you think anyone took any notice?

Lovely day here, going to make the most of it as on countdown to Open Day - 6 days to go. image

Bushman sounds like a lovely start to the day, wish I was so calm. image

Linda, sorry to here about your OH, hope all is well today. image

Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys the weather whilst it is good, I am just trying to repair the damage as best I can, like BL everything is a bit battered and beaten. image
