Good morning all image It's brightening up out there image

Hosta image Glad you're pleased with the new bed. I'll happily post your pics but I'm going to be AWOL for a few days from 11am today as we're going to MILs today and I don't get good network coverage out there. Does anyone else want to volunteer to post Hostas pics for him? image

No good emailing them to me, I only post the ones it'll let me . I'm sure there is a way to resize on a MacBook, but I can't be bothered.  Can anyone explain why the same camera on the same settings produces such differing file sizes?

It's wet outside, time for coffee and a soak in the bath I think.

Pat, Galapagos is on my bucket list. It might need a lottery win first, though.

    Morning All,

Bit tired this morning after long day yesterday, Charlie's school fete, lots of baking and organising to get done, full B&B and then went off to work at a French wedding until an unearthly time this morning. So tired I ended up sleeping downstairs, didn't have the energy to get up them. Then of course, typical, I was woken up at 6 am by a guest taking her 3 little dogs out for a 'pee pee'. Had to jump up off the sofa quick and make out I was up and dressed early - of course I always wear black and white waitressing clothes to serve breakfast in my own home don't I and my short hair is a very 'modern 'bed head' cut, it costs a fortune to get it to stick up like that, smile and grin, smile and grin. image image image

Off to jogging club shortly too, I must be mad I know, but I can't let my ladies down. image Least is is sunny out there. image

Apart from the late finish, the wedding was lovely, so different from the English ones I do at the chateau, this one was in a little village hall and only 55 people for the meal, although quite a lot more for the aperitifs. Very relaxed long evening meal, it was after midnight before we even got to dessert, never mind coffee, and all the family were included in lots of nice little party games and mini little shows, lovely, lovely people. image

Right have to get the washing on now before I set off jogging, all 3 rooms check out today but no - one (yet)  checking in today, I was hoping for a quiet afternoon but Charlie is asking if I will call some of his friends over for a pool party, doesn't really tie in with my plans but what can I say. image

Hope you all have a nice day, catch up properly later. image

Yes Fidget. It's very impressive. He explained about the shapes of islands which were extinct volcanos. I'm rather enjoying it.  luckily, Hubby has stepped and is cooking dinner tonight.image

Bless you Fairy ((hugs)). I did offer but didn't know it would coincide with me being away.

    Morning all.

Thank you Wonks and Obelixx. Only woke up about 20mins ago, so slept for quite a few hours last night. Feeling a little better today but a bit weak as not really eaten since Wednesday.  Managed a piece of toast yesterday. Head still a little achy but so much better than it was.

Ready steady grow, I don't know where you get your energy from. But did make me giggle about jumping up from the sofa. Can just see you trying to smooth down your hair chatting away lol. Take care of yourself best wishes x

Not seen Adele yet will have find it on sky somewhere.

Have a good day everyone take care x

    Morning!

    Still in bedimage

Plan for today was to get out & do some more in the garden - weather forecast was warmish, overcast and dry. Have just had another long, heavy downpour...   After all the rain last night everything will be wet through. Very unpleasant for the big cuttting back exercise and the soil was so wet yesterday I'm not sure it was a good idea to be walking on it.

Might just do an hour or two this afternoon instead.

SGL - hope you feel a bit brighter soon

Hosta - have a good day at work

Dove - enjoy your trip - say Hi to Nut from me

Fairy - behave yourself - it sounds as though lone men are no longer safe in them there Scottish Hills image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
