Evening SGL, sorry you've not been feeling well, lots of thunder storms, that can often effect head aches. Hope you continue to feel better!

Liri, have a wonderful time with the family! I'm sure they will too! image

Off to bed so I don't waste the day tomorrow, we've had rain all day today! image fingers crossed for a lovely sunny Sunday all round! image

Sounds rough SGL.   Hope it's all OK now.

As usual, I'm just waking and it's bed time for you over there. But, I've enjoyed reading back three pages while I'm snuggled under the bedclothes. It's so strange reading about all the summer rain you're getting. Is that usual?  I saw some terrible floods in USA when watching TV last night. Our weather is more cold and miserable than rain nearly every day.  It all makes gardening rather uncomfortable - not that much is growing. I COULD get out there and dig over some of the veggie beds or clean up dead summer plants, but would rather sit inside in the warm and knit.image

Morning - anyone that's around - and afties Pat image

The weather's been quite topsy turvy here - we've nicked all the dry, sunny weather and England's had the wet spring and summer weather we usually have!  image

We've had loads since yesterday - through the night and it's cleared now. We were badly needing it. More to come later so normal service will be resuming image

I will try and do the front grass this morning, although it's looking very lush and green so I'm loathe to do it  image

    Morning all.

I finished planting my new bed yesterday and I'm perfectly pleased with it. Due to the meddling, I can't post photos, but I might take Dove up on her  offer of emailing them to her so she can post them.

Why they had to mess about so much is beyond me.

I even managed to cut the grass for the first time in almost 3 weeks.

Adele was FAB last night, if a little late for those of us on coal face duties this morning.

    Enjoy Sunday one and all.

I'm getting used to the resizing thing Hosta, I just have to select all the photos in a folder, right click and it brings up the resizing option. I've picked the biggest size to change everything to, and that seems fine. It would have been a lot easier if we still had the external site option, as well as the new one for those who take photos with phones. image

Hope work is ok. Must feel a bit odd after being off for such a long time! What's in the new bed- have I missed you saying? image

Am I the only one who found all Adele's chat a tad wearing? Didn't like her incessant effing and blinding either -  there were a lot of youngsters there after all  image

And I'm no shrinking violet either - I could make a sailor blush....image

I watched Adele with Graham Norton onTV last night - very enjoyable. Today I played back one of Monti's episodes when he visited one of the gardens that I have noted that some of you visited recently. Can't remember the name of the old garden and now I've deleted it -  darned old age. image

The garden was started by an old couple who converted farmland to a beautiful garden, than later passed to the RHS. I'm fed up with my memory - funny that I can remember that!!

    good morning everyone.

Yes Joyce, that's what I've been doing and have almost finished another little dress. Watching David Attenborough on the Galapogos islands at the moment.
