Hi all image Pdoc, been crying and singing to prince ever since I heard! Glad your sticking around! I try not to get involved in arguments, but read and observe, have to say that I prefer gardening and friendly chatter, image

Had a brief text from Dove, apparently she has teenage niece on spontaneous visit imageimage not sure how much of my jumper is going to get knitted! image but thank you all for thinking of her, she is so precious to me!

Morning allimagegd afternoon Pat.  Enjoying early morning cuppa along with the dawn chorus. Analgesics gave a 6 hour sleep image more than I usually have at one time.        Waiting to know what you've bought WW.

Enjoy your walk Fairy.   Hope the weather allows others to garden.

    1. Good. morning Joyce.  I've had a very productive day today. Lovely and sunny And about 20c I think. I've cleaned up a lot of strawberry plants for winter. Got rid of all the old unsightly leaves. The plants look so much better. I've also been picking parsley and putting it in the drying machine. Son took a large jar of parsley and chives home yesterday, he finds it really handy when cooking his meals.  Have a god day everyone, image

Morning all/afties Pat. I read your post and saw it as 'putting it in my washing machine'. Must be my overactive brain making the connection between washing and drying!

Hard frost here but the sun's out and I'm off  on my travels in a few minutes image

Glad you're here doc. Think the Thin White Duke and the Purple Prince might be getting up to all sorts out there in the ether. Maybe a version of Lilac Wine....White and Purple - do you see what I did there? image

I'll get me coat ....and ruckie and I'll catch you all later....

Have a brilliant day everyone  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Good morning all image  G'day Pat image

Sorry for going AWOL yesterday - bit of a family crisis over in Lincs yesterday so I shot over there to rescue OH's niece (almost 14 imageimage) and she'll stay with us for 'a few days' ................ Meanwhile Ma continues slipping down that slope - I saw her GP yesterday who says 'not long, but who knows how long' so will just keep going over to see her as often as I can ...

OH is being wonderful, as are my son and of course, the Wonderful Wonky ((hugs)).  So glad we had that lovely day together on Thursday - set me up for the next few days image

I may not be around quite so much for a few days but don't worry ... image

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

Dove (hugs).  You've got a lot on your plate at the moment.

Enjoy your walk Fairy.  It's cold but a beautiful bright morningimage.

Sorry to hear about your wrist Joyce.  How frustrating (let alone painful) for youimage.  I'm struggling with my back at the moment and it's so annoying to see everything that needs doing on a nice sunny day and know that you can'timage.

Lovely pic from yesterday Patimage.  Did the skinks turn up to amuse your sons cats?image

Dd your garden has come on in leaps and bounds - great jobimage.  Lizzie I can understand why panic is setting in about your open day but I'm sure your visitors will be impressed.  Accept every offer of help you getimage.  Nice one DD.
