My dad was a boxer, he'd also done the fairgrounds.
they renamed him Nigger as a nick name because he was very dark skinned and black hair, wouldn't be allowed now. Well, you couldn't have a boxer called Herbert

Well, as usual, I'm trying to wake up and you are all going to sleep! I need a happy medium. Perhaps I should go to bed earlier and get up earlier. Trouble is that it's cold in the bedroom and I'm snuggled down under the bedclothes and don't feel like getting up.
Are you going into autumn, seems no time at all when. You were saying how hot and dry it was.
Dad is talking about everything, there's nothing wrong with his mind, I showed him the hi lights of the Eubank Jr. Fight today, that's when he said he was glad he stopped when he did, I must tell him about the new champion. He said the ref was well wrong to let it go on that long.
He's not sleeping too well at nights, but we disgusted something to help him, then we changed our minds as we wouldn't be able to have our night time chats if he was zombied.

Hello Lyn. It sounds as though your Dad is well able to talk about the fighting rules, etc.
My cousin told me she is well except that she needs a new body to go with the mind. She said nothing is working without pain. Poor thing, she is the last of my Mothers brothers line, so she is selling the family home and planning to move to a user friendly unit somewhere in her suburb.
I've just put the tomato seedlings back in the little greenhouse - there's a layer of frost on the roof, but the sun is shining on it now so it'll soon warm up, and we need the dining table back again

Hello Dove. Funny to be reading about your tomato seedlings when my plants are still producing heaps of fruit. They usually stay alive until May, but it depends on frosty nights.
I've just come inside after taking the secaters to the Cosmos. They were like trees. And where they'd been allowed to touch the ground , they had sent down strong roots. They are all lined up for the compost bin now, but tomorrow will have to do for that. Time to watch the cycle race in Flanders soon.
They were head height and what's more, I didn't plant them; they were self seeded from last year. Funny thing that I've noticed for the first time is that the crimson rosellas love eating the buds and I think, the seed heads. I suppose I'll have them all over the place next spring.
by the way, Dove, have you managed to see the finger drive yet? Just curious.
