Morning all. Best wishes to all mums out there - there seem to be a few in various stages of health. (Mine is 87 on Thursday and still going strong bt not everyone is so lucky).
Has been dry here o/n but now I'm ready to go outside it's started chucking it down again. Looks like I shall have to do the washing-up
Good luck with the moles, Lizzie. I expect to see you in a nice black waistcoat before long.
Good morning everyone. There was a sharp frost overnight ,but it has melted and we have blue skies now. If hubby can get his paperwork done this morning, we are going to try and get to Felley priory for the bluebells around lunch time.
My sweet peas are doing the hokeycokey. In out ,in, out, I'm trying to harden them off to make space in the growhouse for the seventy foxgloves I pricked out yesterday. I have my tomato plants, but they need to go into the next size pot. I haven't the room to put them into their final buckets.
Regarding the free tomato seeds that didn't germinate. I didn't have any, but last year I got very poor germination on the free zinnias. This year I had so many I had to give mum three quarters of a trayful. Do you think that large seeds maybe don't like being crushed by a pile of newsprint?
Morning all. Cold, windy and intermittently wet but not frozen out there today. Didn't get much sleep as the thumb is at the very itchy stage of shedding dead skin and making new plus my wee brain was churning stuff over. Got up to find we're out of leaded coffee and only have decaffeinated. Not good.
Gardening this pm, come what may, so that will either knock me out or wake me up for Soul class this evening.
Hugs to all who need one. A pox on senders of unpleasant PMs. Happy gardening for those who can get out there today.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Off to Lincoln shortly , dry but very windy and bet it is very cold
BL our garden club last year had a talk on wildlife in the garden including moles , he reckoned only way to stop them is poison , over hear it would have to done proffessionally
Have a problem at allotment but they have learnt to use the paths for there runs if one appears in a bed , watering can full poured done it then ram a stone in the hole , probably just luck that it had worked

Massive hug for Dove from me too ( I can do butch when I try )
Lovely sunny morning , but the house is cold, so I reckon it's pretty chilly out there.
In bed at 9.30 asleep, mostly, until 8.15.
The area around " Stonehenge" is sheltered from this wind, so might potter about there for a while.
Morning all.
Lovely sunny morning, hope it lasts.
Birthday wishes for ma Dove. Big hugs for you and Wonks.
Pdoc, hope you're ok today and the PM'er has kept his/her thoughts to themselves.
Off out in an hour or so, have a good day everyone.
