Spent several hours weeding and edging the upper middle bed, not quite finished. I weeded it in the autumn, the mild winter and the rain have encouraged the weeds.

OH was able to clear up the wisteria prunings at last, the baby blackbirds have left the nest. When he was pruning he realised that Mummy blackbird had just laid the eggs so the clearing had to wait.

Lovely photos Chicky. So green and the flowers popping up are such a display. We never see sights like that in our region.  We're very dry.

Didn't see Dove and Chicky there. Good morning to you too.

How much coffee can you get through, Dove or are you planning a party?

lovely autumn day here today. Sun, cool, no wind (or rain) and the garden is slowing down. Hardly any beans, zucchinis or tomatoes to pick now, just a few each day. I haven't tried the aubergines yet, I'm not sure when to pick the round pink ones, I'll give them a bit longer.

I've woken with a sore throat today, so I've been inside watching little painting tips on the SAA magazine site. Very enjoyable.image HRH has been snoring beside me.
