Spent a few hrs on the plot.

I also got in garlic, shallots and onions. Dug up an old rubbarb patch too, and made a stumpery, planted some ferns and bulbs and started a bug hotel.

Wondered  what Onions people are putting in ?

I known the Japanese Onions don’t generally store for to long but Bridge a gap as they should be ready first

Red ones last year didn’t do very well , could be one of those things !

My onions were a french variety and as a back purchased a mixed bag from Wilko's.

I've 30 spare ones which will be planted in modules as a back for any which don't grow or get taken by mice.

Hello all just found out we got Silver award in the 'It's Your Station' category for our
Community Garden at Woolston Station.  So fab last week our main man went to an Awards event, so found out today really pleased imageimage

    Zoomer stumpery sounds good

Only onion that I have seen other allotmenteers put in at this time of year is the set ones white of red meant to do better at this time of year cause of the rain, compared to spring planted - me dont like them so don't plant them
